Vyas Chief

Neerav
Vyas is the Chief Statistician at Whitman Insight Strategies. He brings
with him business experience in statistical analysis and modeling. He
also posses significant research experience in emerging markets,
econometrics, political economy, economic development, and
institutional economics.
Mr. Vyas is adept at designing research programs that produce actionable insights and strategic guidance for his clients in a variety of industries. He has worked extensively with AIG, The Recording Academy, Wachovia, Motorola, Unilever, Fortune Brands, and The Robin Hood Foundation. His work on the creation and development of the ExactCast© consumer segmentation, messaging, and media channel process was instrumental in Unilever naming the technique a "Global Best Practice" in 2009. Throughout 2009, Mr. Vyas worked on Mayor Michael Bloomberg's successful reelection campaign, advising on candidate positioning, and developing a uniquely integrated polling/ad testing/voter contact program that was critical to the Mayor's victory.
Prior to joining Whitman Insight Strategies, Mr. Vyas was a consultant
at Booz Allen Hamilton where he served as the team lead for statistical
analysis and modeling for the US Army’s Physical Disability
Agency. He was also involved with significant volunteer and pro bono
work at Booz Allen. He helped with the development of a metrics
analysis framework for non-profits and performed various financial
analyses for non-profit groups, including cash flow and risk analysis
of non-profit portfolios. Mr. Vyas has also worked as a strategy
consultant for small cap Indian industrial firms and has served as an
intern for the United Nations Department of Public Information through
Lehigh University’s NGO office at the United Nations.
He is in the thesis phase of his MA in Globalization at Dartmouth
College; his research focus has been on the econometric analysis of
ethnic conflicts. Mr. Vyas has a BA from Lehigh University in
International Relations and Economics, with significant coursework in
computer science. At Lehigh he completed an honors thesis on the Indian
Economic reforms of the 1980’s and 1990’s, was a
Martindale
Honors Scholar, and received the Carey B. Joynt International Relations
Leadership and Scholarship Award.
