George
F. Watson IVanalyst
George has aided in various
projects at all stages of the Whitman process while utilizing a broad
skill set gained from extensive coursework in econometrics, statistics,
economic policy and their various applications. In addition to a
business oriented outlook granted from summer studies at the Wharton
School at UPenn, his coursework in various political-economic fields
have provided him with a solid base of understanding for consulting
work on our numerous political projects.
Prior
to joining
Whitman, George gained valuable experience researching technology
segments while working in operations, sales, marketing, and logistics
at Meraki Networks Inc., a socially-conscious Silicon Valley wireless
technology startup, bringing with him a unique perspective of business
analysis that nicely compliments the already wide diversity present on
our team. His previous work as a research assistant for a Professor of
Finance at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business further
provides translatable talent for accurate and professional quantitative
work.
In
keeping with the
cosmopolitan perspective of Whitman Strategies, George capitalized on
an opportunity to study for a time at the Universitat Pomeu Fabra, one
of Spain’s premier universities in Barcelona. A member of
American MENSA, George graduated from Stanford University with a B.A.
in
International Relations concentrating in Comparative International
Political Economics.
